42.80ct Rare Utah Fossilized Gem Red Coral Turtle Carving. Measures 26.86L x 20.14W x 15.13Hmm.There is no natural red coral on the market today due to the world outlawing of the procurement of any red coral from the ocean. This is from material found in Utah and mined in 1947. I obtained a limited amount of material from an old stock-pile from the original mining of this material. It is over 300 million years old back when Utah was part of the ocean. The coral over millions of years fossilized with impregnated colorless agate. There has been no dying or treatments and totally natural. Each carving is truly unique as each has its own formations. There will never be more because any left in the ground is on government protected land and no mining will ever be allowed according to the Utah state geologist. We only have a limited pieces of rough that we are having carved, very valuable and a once in a lifetime find
