SPECIMEN OF AMMONLITE CHELINOCERAS
THIS SPECIMEN WAS FOUND IN MADAGASCAR WITH SOME IRIDESCANT COLOURING LIKE MOTHER OF PEARL. Ammonites are an extinct group of marine animals of the subclass Ammonoidea.Because ammonites and their close relatives are extinct, little is known about their way of life. Their soft body parts are very rarely preserved in any detail .IDEAL AS A SPECIMEN OR IT CAN BE MADE IN TO A PENDANT OR EARRINGS.

Thanks for your reply. I'm not looking into matching, would just like to know that if I bid for the pair, they are from the one ammonite split into two. I'm quite new at buying gems so Idon't really know how sellers sell their goods. I happen to like fossils very much and is doing some shopping around.
