At the time I bought this, I was investigating the joint, how the bracelet opened. This was quite interesting to us for making our own bracelets work like that. Problem was, the samples were all very expensive. I bought this one, I believe, it was the best from all similar bracelets I saw at the time. I have not been back to Katmandu since. Its a neat bracelet, and not that expensive considering the weight and its all handmade.
