This bid is for a 25.50 carat Pair Gem Russian Seraphinite Cabachon Gemstones. From the Mine Korshunovskaic which is situated not far from Baikal Lake in Eastern Siberia, Russia. Seraphinite is gem quality clinchlore of the chlorite group. It has a hardness of 2.5 and density of 2.6. Rich, dark greens with whitish areas that changes sparkle and light as the gem is viewed from different positions. A remarkable gem! Opaque, free of significant flaws, with excellent face up and eye appeal. Native cushion cabochon cut approx. 20 x 15 mm. Nice well matched pair!
