IN AUGUST 2007 WE WERE APPROVED AS AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR PERTH MINT AUSTRALIA .
The fifth release from the Mint's Fire Engines of the World Series, this coin depicts a 1923 Loschfahrzeug LF 15.
99.9% Pure Silver
The coin is struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver.
Coloured Reverse Design
Made by C.D. Magirus Corp, the LF 15 was originally used by the fire department at Siemens. Acquired later by the Berlin Fire Department where it is now preserved, the appliance carried nine firemen and a driver, and could deliver 1,500 litres of water per minute.
Cook Islands Legal Tender
Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of the Cook Islands, the coin depicts Raphael Maklouf’s effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
Red Presentation Case
The coin is housed in an eye-catching red presentation case accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Each case comes within a shipper depicting fire fighters.
Extremely Limited Mintage
No more than 5,000 of these coins will be released.
