Description

31 stones 44.60 carats.  Nice luster on these emerald gemstones.  Perfict ring size.  Not a foggy or cloudy stone but nice luster coming from deep within the stone.  If it is a foggy opaque stone it should not be called a gem.  These are gem from the inside out.  Offering up these at $85/ct parcel price.  This is a very good price on these cut gems.

Questions & Comments

gemrough, 2 Mar 2009:
Dave, I've been meaning to get some $1 auctions up and going. I've been shoveling snow and snowmobiling the last 5 days. More snow comming down right now. I hope it doesn't get too deep...LoL Yes the Zambian emeralds are considered the worlds best. They are not mined from too deep a level and this causes less stress on the stone. They don't oil the emeralds in Zambia but I heard the mines are presently flooded so nothing comming out from there right now. The emerald parcels are auctioned off in Zambia. They don't send out the rough from there. It is all cut inside the country. Murray
