HARD BRITTLE STONES Weight (CARATS):120.70CTS Origin:KABUL/AFGHANISTAN SETTING SIZE: 20 X 11 X 3 MM Color:MULTI COLOUR Shape: ANIMAL HAND CARVINGS Clarity:VS Treatments:NATURAL Additional Comments: PIECES: 24 THESE ANIMAL S ARE MADE OF WHITE HARD BRITTLE STONES, A STRANGE PHENOMENA, IN THE VICINITY OF KABUL/AFGHANISTAN THERE IS AN AREA OF PLAIN GROUND AND IN 4KM RADIUS THESE STONES ARE FOUND, KNOWN BY THE LOCAL AS CHAND-KAY-TUKRAY MEANS FRAGMENTS OF THE MOON, THESE STONES ARE NOT MINED, THEY ARE FOUND ON THE GROUND SURFACE MINGLED WITH OTHER STONES PEBBLES AS THEY ARE OF THE SAME SIZES BUT THE STRANGE THING IS FROM WHERE THESE STONES COME FROM AND WHY FOUND IN 4KM RADIUS ONLY, ABOUT THIRTY YEARS BACK EVERY FOURTH PEBBLE WAS FOUND OF THIS TYPE, BUT NOW AFTER EVERY 50 PEBBLES DUE TO EXCESSIVE PICKING. IN OLDEN DAYS IT WAS THE ONLY PLACE IN WHOLE OF THE INDIAN SUBCONTINENT WHERE FALSE HUMAN TEETH WERE MADE FROM THESE STONES. THIS GEM STONE IS NOW IN AUSTRALIA AND WILL BE SHIPPED FROM THERE SO PLEASE BE PATIENT FOR YOUR DELIVERY. 6 mm = 1/4 inch (Approx)
