Description
GRADE A JADEITE JADE PENDANT
This is a grade A jadeite jade carving pendant, Jadeite has various metal elements contained impurities, so there are different colours, such as chromium-based green, iron-based red (Fei colour), there are other purple, orange, yellow, white, black and other colours. It has very good polishing, the hole was drilled or carved.
Mohs hardness: between 6.5 and 7.0,

SINCE HIGH QUALITY JADEITE IS RARE IN THE NATURE, MANY TREATMENT MATHODS WERE INTRADUCED INTO THE TRADE . SO GRADE A,B,C AND B+C WERE CLASSFIED.
GRADE A:jadeite has not been treated in any way except surface waxing.
GRADE B:To improve the transparency and colour of the material,using strong acid to "wash" away the colours of the impurities then apply the clear resin and hardner.
GRADE C: Dyed.
GRADE B+C: combination of B and C.
