I believe the stone to be fiber optics glass rather than jadeite or nephrite. Fiber optics glass has a very distinctive look, and from all appearances this is an perfect example of it. Glass. The "cat's eye" running the length of the stone is typical. Other views would help to see if that cat's eye is indeed visible from all orientations, and if so, well...
