Description
21.26ct. Natural African Aquamarine Gem Turtle Carving. Direct from our mine partners in Tanzania. Natural and free of any and all treatments. Aquamarine is the bluish stone fron the Beryl family with a hardness of 8. All African Aquamarine is scarce and expensive as most of the known reserves are located within protected game parks where mining is out lawed and the main reason so little ever comes to the market. Most Aquamarine offered today is heat treated or irradiated which affects the value considerably. Hand carved in our lapidary with excellent detail and free of any major flaws. Translucent with a beautiful blue green color. 17.63 x 15.18 x 12.66mm.
