Description
4.35ct Natural Peru Pink Opal Cabochon. Found in sandwiched layers within host rocks, little quality material has been found over the last three years. A recent new find in Eastern Peru is producing this ellusive material and it remains too early to tell how much will be available as the other known sources have remained dry. This gem is 100% natural and free of dying, acid washing, reconstituting, or any other treatments most of the material seen today are subjected to. Attractive pastel pinks, gemmy translucent to opaque, with attractive face up and eye appeal. Custom Oval cabochon cut measureS approx 13.89 x 10.24 x 5.25mm.
