Description

Jasper and German Silver Pendant

This pendant is made of Grassland Jasper and German Silver.

The stone is 20 x 30 mm (approx) while the complete Pendant measures 45 X 35 mm (approx)

German Silver can hardly be distinguished from Silver, but is actually a metal alloy of copper with nickel and often but not always zinc. It is named for its silvery appearance, but contains no elemental silver unless plated. Other common names for this alloy are Nickel Silver, paktong, new silver and alpacca (or alpaca).

Like chalcedony, Jasper is found in nearly any color of the rainbow. It often contains organic material, which gives it unique patterns, bands, and colors. Many say that these patterns resemble landscapes with mountains and valleys. It is said that Jasper provides grounding and protection against negativity.
