Description
TUCSON GEM AND MINERAL SHOW 2009
Item: Prehnite Chips - Tumbled and Polished Chips
Properties:
Size: 36" Strand
Comments: I bought these at a really good price and am passing along the savings. Top Quality!
TREATED VS NATURAL: Most gem experts agree that it is safer and more honest to assume that a gemstone these days has been treated in some way rather to presume that it hasn't.. Treated can mean anything from water or oil to irradiation and heat. Given that some of this occurs before some stones ever leave the mine, I think it is better to assume that some kind of enhancement may have taken place. I try desperately to purchase natural, untreated stones and minerals, and shop at reputable dealers who assure me of such. But ultimately, it comes to to having to believe what someone else tells you. Thanks, Connie
