ANTIQUE SILVER WRESTLERS RING
Natural Agate stone. This ring is very old from ancient Persia.
The Persian Empire was strong than and wrestlers held a high position in society and were well respected.
The main reason was that if a dispute erupted between Ruling Lords, they would not go to war, but would send their wrestler to the arena and the winning wrestler solved the Lords dispute in his favour.
Therefore if you read old Persian tales. There you will find a tale of wrestlers Rustan and Sohrab.
These wrestlers fought against each other in a death fight .Rustan a was father, and he left home due to some reason before his son was born, he recognize his son only when he read his name inscribed on the ring of the dead wrestler (sohrab), Therefore, on one wrestler ring with Agate, you will see that the son and father names are inscribed
THIS GEM STONE IS NOW IN AUSTRALIA AND WILL BE SHIPPED FROM THERE SO PLEASE BE PATIENT FOR YOUR DELIVERY
