(VS Very slight inclusions; inclusions barely seen under 10x magnification - I1 Included; inclusions seen with naked eye.  This gem was graded inbetween these two grades due to the inlcusion),  This is a very clean gem with One area of inclusion easily seen with the loupe and seen with the eye if you are inspecting the gem. There are not small spots of inclusion marks as seen with most lighter colored tanzanite, the inclusion is seen on the underside in one area,  This does not affect the structure of the gem. Tanzanite was enthusiastically celebrated as "Gemstone of the 20th Century" after its discovery in 1967. Named after the East African state of Tanzania where its only deposit has been found the legendary New York jewelers Tiffany & Co gave the youngster of the fine gem elite the wings to win the hearts of jewelry lovers all over the world.

Common Tanzanite treatments
Most rough crystals show a disturbingly large proportion of brownish-yellow tints, which vanish when heated to 752-932 degrees F (400-500 degrees C).

Color:  Many grade Tanzanite color with the following: 'AAA' , 'AA', or 'A',  'AAA is the darkets color and the 'A' is the lightest color,  This color grade system was first used now due to the high demand and low quantiies many grade system have been applied around the world,  A universal Grade system has not been applied to this date.  USA used their own system while many European & Asian countries use another.
