Description
* WARNING:
These pictures are of the REAL stone......They do not do this stone any justice, whatsoever.
*CAUTION:
The stone you will receive MAY NOT BE AS UGLY AND UNATTRACTIVE .
.....but if you truly need an exceptionally ugly and lifeless stone, please contact me for a referral....
Fall is here, fall is here.
And in honor of Mother Natures color show….I bring you Imperial topaz. Topaz in shades of champagne and cognac, umber and gold, yellow and orange and all the colors that make fall that special time of year for lovers of warm colors.
The great thing about this stone is that it will go with any warm colored ensemble.
If you are looking for a nice piece to get you through to Lent…. This is it.
This is a pendeloque, concave cut Imperial topaz.
To be completely candid, I do not really care for this cut on this shape. It loses fire. The top half, meaning the pointy end, just doesn’t like to light up. Looks good, the stone is a good shade of champagne, but it’s just not as fiery as I want….
I’m fussy……
I want the Koh-i-noor to jump from every stone……
I am also disappointed a lot.
But, on the other hand… a lot of people seem to like this style of shape and cut…. So who am I to judge?
This stone is VVS and a good size for anything you might want.
Being in the brown family it is a good color stone for both ladies and gentlemen.
For a man, this stone would make a remarkable stick pin..( Am I the only one in America still wearing stickpins??)
A stone like this on some ones lapel says “POWER AND WEALTH”….
For less than 7.50@carat ….. It also says “ FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY ”….
Which looks better to the stockholders…….
If you didn’t like this auction, you’re going to HATE these !
