A superlative example of an indicolite tourmaline, this stone is what I would term a slightly greenish blue.

It is Portuguese cut and IF, meaning under 10x it is flawless. For the record I couldn't find anything under 30x.

There is a very small chip from the girdle point easily hidden with a prong.

It is the point touching the forceps in the pictures.

This chip is visible with 10x + magnification and with magnified photography, but barely visible with the unaided eye.

What all this amounts to is a fire play that is of the first rate. The color of the fire is blue, blue/green and turquoise and light this stone from side to side.

An excellent size for a ring or a pendant.

Normally I would ask 300.00 @ carat

for an indicolite of this quality and of this size

Less than 150.00 @ carat
