Email    ghilaboratory@gmail.com GEM TESTING IS 600 BHT OR APPROX $18.00 FOR MEMBERS OR 1,00 BHT AROUND $30 FOR NON MEMBERSColor Stone Identification report guaranteesThe GHI department is officially accredited for the quality examination of polished gem according to an international standard for laboratories. Stones are examined anonymously in the sense that graders can not know the identity of the owner.Color Stone Identification report guarantees A GHI Gem report guarantees that the stone examined are indeed a real Gemstone, and contains a full and detailed quality description...  The Gemstone Report consists of:  
  • Weight, dimensions and cut
  • Description of the color and transparency
  • Identification (ruby, sapphire, ...) + determination of the nature of the stone
  • Comments : possible treatments, external damage, or special phenomena (asterism, chatoyancy, ...)
  • Origin. (For Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald & Demantoid Garnet. Will only be indicated if identification is possible.)
 . A Gemstone Report is only made for natural, transparent and loose gemstones. Concerning synthetic stones and imitations, only a Test Report is issued. It is also possible to seal a gemstone. In this case, the sealed stone is delivered together with the Gemstone Report. In addition to its Gem Grading Reports, GHI also provides Gemological Identification Reports for mounted or loose Gem, These reports include the identification of the gem material, and any evidence of treatments detected in the process. For loose Gem, measurements and weight will also be provided.The Gemstone Report is signed by 2 Gemologists.Your stones can be delivered to the “Gemstone reception desk” of the GHI. You are cordially invited to visit our Laboratory.
