Appearances & Origins
Rose Quartz is usually soft in colour, ranging from light pink to medium pink in intensity. Sometimes it can look almost purple or hazy and cloudy in appearance too. It is commonly found as large specimens with no crystal edges and crystallised clusters of this stone are very rare.
This crystal is very common and is found in many countries around the world, specifically in igneous locations. Historically, a symbol for love and beauty, rose quartz has been used as a gemstone and as ornamental objects for thousands of years. Ancient Romans used the stone as a seal to signify ownership.
It was also known as the crystal of Venus, the goddess of love and beauty. In one Greek legend, Aphrodite fought Ares to protect her lover Adonis from dying. Upon leaping forwards, she fell into a sharp briar bush. As she and her lover lay wounded, their blood poured out and stained the white quartz pink. The Egyptians left healing rose quartz masks in the tombs of their Pharaohs so that they would maintain their beauty.

Beautiful beads! Packed well and shipped quickly. Color is on the lighter side, but still very beautiful rose quartz.
Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a user is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on that users behalf, incrementally increasing the bid to maintain their position as the highest bidder, up to the specified maximum.
When there is an icon indicating 'Auto Bid,' it means our system is actively placing bids for the user based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if users are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the users maximum limit.
