Just a top quality parcel of precious Topaz from Ouro Preto, Brazil. This parcel has a great mix of colors, from Orange, to Peach, to Apricot. This is the most valuable form of Topaz, worth about 10x more than standard Blues and Champagnes. The precious Topaz mined in Ouro Preto is easy to distinguish from the Brownish Cognac and Champagne Topaz coming out of Afghanistan and elsewhere because the Ouro Preto Topaz has a slightly higher refractive index. Where all other Topaz measures out in the 1.60-1.62 range, the Ouro Preto precious Topaz generally measures in the 1.61-1.63 range, sometimes even up to 1.64. For this reason, it’s sometimes even mistaken for Tourmaline.
We’ve gotten a bunch of this Topaz in recently, so we’re offering it at well below wholesale. But this material is hard to come by, so don’t miss out. Lots of top quality Topaz in this parcel. The average stone size is 4x6mm to 5x7mm.
I took pictures of this stone in high magnification against a white background to give you the best idea of color and quality. As a certified gemologist I can verify that the above description is accurate and that this stone/stones have been tested in the gem lab to verify identity and natural origin.

The photos don't do this stone justice. The deep, bright reds are just stunning.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a user is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on that users behalf, incrementally increasing the bid to maintain their position as the highest bidder, up to the specified maximum.
When there is an icon indicating 'Auto Bid,' it means our system is actively placing bids for the user based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if users are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the users maximum limit.
