Madan is an ancient ore-miners’ settlement, the extraction of lead ore having begun around 5th-4th century B.C
A wonderful mixed mineral specimen from Bulgaria. Well formed pink Rhodochrosite along with lustrous metallic black Sphalerite crystals and terminated Quartz crystals. Although crystals are obvious to the naked eye, specimen requires magnification (loupe) to fully enjoy the crystal structures. Will be a wonderful addition to any rock and mineral collection.
