This parcel was found in western Australia in the Pilbara region in place known as curlew Emerald mine,and was worked in 1970s.
Today It is basically miner with backhoe on small tractor and cleared some land and some fossickers so not much mining activity
Specimens can consist Light green beryl crystals to green beryl colouration, with minor dark biotite specks mica ,schift and purple fluorite inclusions.
The dark mica schists within the quartz veins and pegmatites contain gem quality emerald crystals and green beryl. As is typical of Western Australian emerald
