This stunning beauty is a 2.05ct Gubelin certified unheated ruby. The color is more of a royal red than a pigeon blood color, however the stone is not dark at all even in low light conditions. The cut is good, resulting in spectacular luster! The glow from this stone is breathtaking. Capturing the true color of a ruby in photographs and video is very difficult, however you can get a sense of the beauty of this stone and it’s wonderful luster. Clean and unheated rubies with a good color are very rare especially when you keep in mind that only 1% of rubies on the market are untreated. We spend quite a lot of time picking out top rubies and usually reject 90% of that 1% in order to obtain the best possible gems.
