This is the most beautiful Opal we’ve ever seen. Not only is the color play incredibly bright (5/5), with extreme coverage all over the front of the stone. But this Opal has nearly as bright color play on the backside as it does on the front (4.5-5/5). This Opal is easily worth in the $15,000-$25,000 range, listed here at no reserve. Just take a look at the pictures and video. This Opal is absolutely stunning. This Opal is completely solid. It is not a doublet or composite stone.
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS please be advised that we will not alter customs forms. The sale price of this stone is what will be declared as the value of the package. Please also be advised that Opals are very fragile. If this stone is won by an international bidder it will be shipped via airmail. This will subject the Opal to cold temperature conditions and low air pressure in the cargo hold of the plane. This can cause the Opal to become damaged, which we won’t accept responsibility for. If this Opal is won by a domestic bidder, it will be shipped via USPS ground and we will accept responsibility for damage or loss.
I took pictures of this stone in high magnification against a white background to give you the best idea of color and quality. As a certified gemologist I can verify that the above description is accurate and that this stone/stones have been tested in the gem lab to verify identity and natural origin.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a user is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on that users behalf, incrementally increasing the bid to maintain their position as the highest bidder, up to the specified maximum.
When there is an icon indicating 'Auto Bid,' it means our system is actively placing bids for the user based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if users are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the users maximum limit.
