Beautiful color tones from this garnet. Purple red color and not overly saturated like many garnets. This one has the perfect saturation so you can easily see through the stone and the colors are not only under bright lights. Stone is eye clean but under magnification there are a few small specks that cannot normally be seen. Stone is very flashy and lustrous.
This gem has good depth of cut for displaying maximum internal reflection back out through the stone.
Garnets are not normally treated as treatment does nothing to improve the quality of the stone.
