This is an untreated rhodonite oval gem. It comes from a new deposit in Guatemala. Quality is good and it comes in different shades of pink color. I brought with me several kilograms of this kind of stone. I checked the refracted index of the stone and it coincides with rhodonite: 1.73. This gemstone is flat on both sides and in between comes with an all around slot for easy wire wrapping. The backside of this gem is UNPOLISHED. Shipping is from Panama.
