79.65 carats of very pretty actual malachite azurite. Polished both sides. This material is probably stabilized. Malachite and azurite is formed when copper deposits are in contact with carbonated water solutions. You can see this is grown in layers like stalactites and stalagmites. Different growth lines show slightly changing chemistry in the solutions which varies the color intensity. This creates an organic looking pattern in a rock that actually has grown. Azurite can alter to malachite after many years and the two minerals are associated together.
Bisbee Arizona and Morenci arizona are two areas that made this material quite famous in the midwest USA and now the world loves it. I’m a geologist gemologist not a healing guy but many believe in the powers of this stone. I got a few cabs by chance and almost hate to sell them because of the beauty. It’s hard to stop looking at it because it’s so beautiful.
I try to keep my prices reasonable so please compare and know my aim is always to be the best seller bringing the best quality for the best price. Never to get the biggest price, only a fair price.
