I truly feel the presence of Nature with my gems - and the beauty of the world, intensely. A little parcel of land that predates so many - from ancient times these crystals have grown and I am amazed to be able to hold them and enjoy them as I do.

Item Information - A very unusual gem - I have not had one like it ever. This large cabochon is really like a cross between an Amethyst and a Rose Quartz, with the wonderful hazy, cloudy diffused light that is common to Rose Quartz stones. In various lights it has different tones but over all there is a darkness to it that I just love. Setting this stone would be magnificent - it is an enigma all on its own and is so good looking. It also reminds me of a dark Chalcedony. Its interior is fine and its polish is great - I am very attached to this piece for its rarity and handsome appearance.
