Ammolite is a gemstone that had been fossilized from a shell. It is said to be closely related to an achievement of wealth and provides as a useful tool for dating rocks. It is rare and is sometimes compared to Opals.
It is mostly mined in the Rocky Mountains and Canada It can be assumed that Ammolite is one the rarest gemstones on earth. This Ammolite Rough is polished or sometimes resin is applied to the rough or triplet top added. Resin does give a good polished finish but natural polish is best.
