GR 61 This is an Australian party sapphire that we oftheearthgems bought from the gem rough from a dealer at Gemfest at Anakie on the central QLD gem fields and  have brought home, faceted and polished it and this is the end result!. It does have a small cloud of silk which shows as a cloud of blue in the stone. I have tried to capture the effect in the photos. {hence why there is so many of them} Also I have photo'd some in normal room light intensity {the light is daylight corrected but is in no way as bright} and some in a brighter light to copy daylight conditions since I don't have enough hands to hold everything and take photos as well outside{cloudy days and nighttime also slows me down} and setting up each day to take photos takes me away from cutting gems to sell to you all. So we try to produce photos in our studio that will best show you what you will get when you buy from us. It seems we are getting it right from the feed back we receive from past and return customers! I prefer to leave the silk in the stone rather than cutting it out or using heat treatment methods. Some of us myself and my wife included prefer the individual  look the inclusions create, after all many jewelers these days are selling "created" stones that are all the same colour as each other and because of this any clean same colour as the jeweler shop has will be considered by almost everyone to be a artificial stone where as stones like this are the real deal in any one's eye !
