Azurite for sale at wholesale prices. Azurite is a mineral form of copper. It is generally a light-blue stone, but sometimes has deep, stunning copper-blue colours due to the formation of copper carbonate hydroxide. Azurite is also known as blue bice, blue verditer, or chessylite and is used ornamentally as well as for colour dyes for paints and fabrics. Azurite scores 3.5–4 based on the Moh’s Scale of Hardness. Care must be taken when using Azurite bead because it scratches easily. Because of this Azurite is sought after more by mineral collectors rather than jewellery designers.
