We found a carver in the hill tribe area on Thailand near Burma and Laos who hand carved animals into local buffalo horn
We purchased his entire stock and dint see any one else making these exquisite hand animal carvings
The carver was around 30 years old and his father had taught him this trade
He dries the horn out for a year from a buffalo and than decides what design would be best for this particular piece of horn
Colors are natural
Shades differ depending on how deep he carved into the horn
