CHAROITE WAS DISCOVERED BY GEOLOGISTS V.P. ROGOVA AND Y.G. ROGOV.
IT MAY CONTAIN PATCHES OR STAR OF BLACK (AEGERINE), ORANGE (TINAKSITE)AND TRANSPARENT (MICROCLINE FELDSPAR)CRYSTALS.
IT RANKS 5.0 ON THE MOH’S SCALE OF HARDNESS. ITS DENSITY IS APPROX. 2.5 TO 2.8.
