This beautiful and unusual meteorite was first found in 1836 although the locals knew about it a long time before hand.Most speciems show  flight markings and evidence of a violent atmosphere break up.A beautiful fine octahedrite pattern when etched and it is very resistant to rust because of the tight fitting crystals.lack of inclusions and high nickle content.
