No abraded edges. Freshly recut stone. Very beautiful color for peridot. Eye clean stone. High class gem.
Peridot. Thought to drive away the evil spirits at night. This was because of how it reflected the candle light back before electricity.
This peridot is from Supat Pakistan where the best peridot is considered to be found. You can see this has a nice deep color and the cut is especially nice showing proper cutting depth. Stone is relatively clean. Eye clean but not loupe clean. The stone has minor visible inclusions under examination with magnification and light.
