Hayne is a highly sought-after gem due to its rarity and incredible, electrifying color. Its mesmerizing blue hues are unforgettable and as rich as those seen in the most prized sapphires and Pariaba tourmalines. Hayne is an extremely rare mineral and even rarer gemstone. Also called haynite, it was named in honor of 18th century French scientist and crystallography pioneer Ren-Just Hay, who many consider one of the fathers of modern gemology. Its first mention was in 1807 when crystals were discovered among volcanic lavas in Italy. It is known for its electric blue color, but can also be found in white, gray, yellow, green and pink colors.
Haϋyne is one of the major constituents of lapis lazuli, a well-known and ancient gem material. It is, however, rarely seen as a distinct gem species. It is cut for collectors mainly as a curiosity, but faceted gems that are deep blue in color are extremely beautiful. Blue is the most sought after color in this material.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a user is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on that users behalf, incrementally increasing the bid to maintain their position as the highest bidder, up to the specified maximum.
When there is an icon indicating 'Auto Bid,' it means our system is actively placing bids for the user based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if users are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the users maximum limit.
