RUBY TRAPICHE
This is a rare natural untreated specimen from Burma. It has be polished and there are some inclusions in the face. You could give it a better polish or keep it as a specimen as its is a collectors stone.
Trapiche Rubies consist of six ruby sections that are delineated by “arms” resulting in a fixed six-rayed “star”. Trapiche is the Spanish word for a spoked wheel used to grind sugar cane which bears a striking resemblance to the pattern in these rubies. It is pronounced trah-pee-chee with the accent on the second syllable.
Trapiche rubies are different from Star Rubies
In Star Rubies, the six-ray star glides along the surface of the stone when the star ruby is moved. Unlike Star Rubies, in Trapiche Rubies, the six-ray “star” is fixed and does not move.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a user is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on that users behalf, incrementally increasing the bid to maintain their position as the highest bidder, up to the specified maximum.
When there is an icon indicating 'Auto Bid,' it means our system is actively placing bids for the user based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if users are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the users maximum limit.
