10.59ct natural Colombian with insignificant oiling (F1 - minor oil in GIA terms).
This emerald may be considered paler than typical Colombian emeralds, but when your eyes can pick up almost no oiling you will appreciate what “insignificant oiling” means to the color of an emerald.
The emerald is very clean and highly transparent.
At this high carat size you can do much more than a ring. It would make a stunning cocktail ring though.
Photos are minimally edited (for brightness calibration); photos in the garden/daylight are not edited.
Consider that a paler transparent emerald can look effervescent in low light. A lighter green emerald if worked properly can provide stunning results. This is because the immediacy of light affects a lighter Colombian emerald in a very hard-to-explain way (we will try if you are interested) :)
If your jeweller knows how to use this effect to your advantage, you’ve got a big emerald rock with personality.
