This is a really nice, colorful Garnet, as you can see from the pictures. The color is a wonderful, rich Orange. It has a top quality cut, which really enhances the stone. Perfect cut, color and clarity a really TOP quality stone.
For our “Buy it Now” stones, we try to only list stones that are professionally cut and have top color. Most people don’t give nearly enough thought to cut these days. Most stones you’ll see on the open market are cut in third world countries. They try and maximize the carat weight, so they leave large windows, and they almost never do a full diamond polish, because it’s expensive to do. Almost all the gems we sell we first send off to be professionally recut with a full diamond polish. We guarantee you’ll notice the difference. Just take a look at the pictures.
I took pictures of this stone in high magnification against a white background to give you the best idea of color and quality. As a certified gemologist I can verify that the above description is accurate and that this stone/stones have been tested in the gem lab to verify identity and natural origin.

The photos don't do this stone justice. The deep, bright reds are just stunning.
