The name comes from the miner of this stone in Utah-there is very  little play of colour so i would consider it a agate

This is a richly coloured silica sinster opal.It was formed by hot liquid silica depositing a seam of haylite opal .The seam is 90-95% silics opal with trace minerals of iron ,copper,magnesium,titanium,aluminum,and antimony which make up these beautiful patterns.This bubbly liquid formed a extremely wild mixture of botryoidal forms and patterns.We also sell candy opal from utah but it is believed to be a few hundred years younger than this.It is young opal believed to be app 2000 years old.This will make a great colectors piece.
