Another incredible 1.74ct certified spinel. The cut here is excellent, total light reflection, a nice large table with a nice crown, a straight step pavilion, centered culet, really excellent. The color is a special mix: it's a red crystal with a strong purple modifier ! Saturation is intense under daylight. The tone is mediumdark to dark, which means this crystal is dark when there is low light. However, under daylight, this crystal opens almost 100% thanks to the very well-made cushion cut ! The clarity is 95% clean with the eyes face up. Almost eyes-clean. There is a crack-inclusion inside the pavilion that goes up to the crown, towards a facet of the crown. This inclusion becomes very slightly visible with the eyes face up because it reacts with the light BUT ONLY if you look from the right angle ! From all other angles, the stone is perfectly eyes-clean ! that's why I say 95% clean. There are 1-2 other small marks in this crystal but nothing really important. These other marks are not face up in all cases !
A beautiful piece of 1.74 certified with an intense purple red color, a very good cut with good clarity!
