顏色

Nice freshly cut Sri Lankan sapphire. Looks eye clean with the loupe minor striations of color banding growth lines. VS or better.
Certified sapphire origin Sri Lanka purchased from Ratnapura. Certified No heat. Ratnapura means gem city translated. 25% of Ceylon is thought to be covered in gem gravels.
Underside of stone shows a more colorless area which is not noticed up top where the stone seems to have equal color saturation. I tried to take the photos at different angles to show it closely.
