Marvellous example of lustrous rich blue well formed Linarite crystals on matrix. Linarite is not a common mineral. The material is much more valuable and rarer than it appears to be. Although Linarite is visible to the naked eye, specimen requires magnification to be fully enjoyed.  Linarite from this locality is considered to be very rare not only because hardly any of this material is available on the market but also because the small mine is hard to find “lost” in the heavily forested hills. With a partly collapsed entrance and the main tunnel full of water, mining activity is extremely rare. A wonderful example of an extremely hard to find mineral specimen. Will be an impressive addition to any rock and mineral collection.
