* Synethic gemstone detection can be extremelydifficult for Quartz (Citrine, Amethyst, Ametrine), Beryl (Aquamarine, Morganite). Advanced equipment must be used which some laboratories may not have.
** Jaedite treatments can be detected by basic equipment, however some treatments require advanced equipment which some laboratories may not have.
*** It is extremly difficult to test for treatment via irradiation. For this reason many reports do not mention irradiation as a treatment, even on commonly treated gemstones like Topaz.
