This is a natural untreated agatefrom Chihuahua Mexico displaying a intriguing pattern .This stone is well polished and shows beautiful paterns with vibrantcolour.This is one of the most popular agates on the market.We bought a 44 gallon drum of material from the miner and cut this stone from it.
Laguna lace Agate is a type of Chalcedony, it is a cryptocrystalline form of silica.
Laguna Lace agate gets its name as a hybrid of Crazy Lace agate and Laguna agate. It is a variety of Mexican Crazy Lace agate.
Crazy Lace is a variety of agate that features “crazy” twists and turns in the banding.
Laguna agate is a fortification agate with beautiful varietal colors. Fortification agate features patterns like a medieval fortress wall.
Our Laguna Lace agate presents both varieties of banding often in the same stone.
No gemstone is more creatively striped by Nature than agate, chalcedony quartz that forms in concentric layers in a wide variety of colours and textures. Each individual agate forms by filling a cavity in host rock. As a result, agate is often found as a round nodule, with concentric bands like the rings of a tree trunk. The bands sometimes look like eyes, fanciful scallops, or even a landscape with trees.
