TYPE A jade is coating of jade surface with wax ONLY. NO Dye and NO Impregnation. Waxing is the common and most traditional jade treatment. Waxing is an optimized method for jade surface, which is accepted worldwide and does not need to be specified in the certificate.
Although most people think of jade as a beautiful green gemstone, in fact the material occurs in other colors as well, that include white, lavender, yellow, blue, black, red, orange, and gray. Mohs hardness is between 6 - 7.
