Pair of natural gemstones with hematite and copper inclusions to give the color. Natural and untreated.
This stone is a bit like labradorite but orange - it is from the same group of stones with similar properties. Sunstone is a oligoclase feldspar, which when viewed from certain directions exhibits a brilliant spangled appearance known as a schiller. The optical effect is due to reflections from enclosures of red haematite and copper and are disposed parallel to the principal cleavage-plane.
Healing Properties of Sunstone: Sunstone is linked to luck and good fortune. It clears and energizes all the chakras. Sunstone instills good nature, heightens intuition and allows the real self to shine through happily. It dissipates fearfulness, alleviates stress and increases vitality.
