Rhodochrosite is a vibrant pink to deep red manganese carbonate mineral (MnCO3) known for its beautiful rose-like colors, often forming banded patterns with white/grey layers, stalactites, or crystals (rhombohedral/scalenohedral) with a vitreous to pearly luster.
