Mosasaurus skul Fossil – Authentic Fossilized Dinosaur Fossil for Sale
This skull belonged to a "Halisaurus Arambourgii" Mosasaur. This particular species didn’t grow very big. Full grown adults may have reached up to 12 ft in length. Like all other Mosasaurs, this animal was a swift, agile swimmer employing its four paddles and stout tail to propel itself. This specimen was found in the phosphate mines of “Sidi-daoui, Morocco” it dates back to the Maestrichtian period, about 70-65 million years ago. This mosasaur skull is a spectacular specimen, has been professionally prepared and mounted on a custom iron sand. It features great detail and preservation with minimal restoration. This is a premium quality specimen, not to be compared with the many inexpensive fake skulls on market place. This would make a great addition to any fossil collection or museum display.

Fast shipping, but unfortunately, the stand wasn't included as promised. The fossil consists of various bones and teeth from many different animals and is quite a pretty conglomerate. For the relatively low price, it's fine. A decorative piece.
