Gr 8 This natural emerald come from the Sandawana mine in Zimbabwe. I cut this from a large Parcel I bought many years ago . I have pieces sitting on the cutting table and keep grinding bits until I find a relative clean section in the rough. then I try to gauge the size of the clean section to cut a stone from it . It is surprising how often a piece of gem rough that looks to be useless will suddenly reveal something that I can cut into a beautiful gem!
